AmMag™ Quatro Mini Automated Mini-Plasmid Purification

The AmMag™ Quatro Mini is a fully automated solution designed for mini-scale, high-throughput plasmid purification. Designed for maximum efficiency, this system allows for simultaneous operation of up to four independent purification modules, all controlled by a central controller. Each module can process up to forty-eight samples in a single run. The Quatro significantly increase throughput while reducing hands-on time.
Leveraging magnetic bead technology, the AmMag™ Quatro Mini-1100 accommodates sample volumes from 1 to 5 mL, making it ideal for research labs and industrial workflows. Its modular design and pre-validated protocols ensure reliable, scalable, and consistent purification of high-quality, transfection-grade plasmid DNA.

Case 1. AmMag™ Quatro Mini vs. Manual Kit

Plasmid: pTT5. Strain: JM108. Culture medium: TB. Culture time: 16 hours. Bacterial solution ODV: 17.

The results showed: that the concentration, yield, purity and supercoiling of the plasmid extracted by AmMag™ Quatro Mini are basically consistent with those of the manual kit. The endotoxin level islower, which meet the needs of downstream transfection applications.

Case 2. Homogeneity test in 48-well plate using the same bacterial slurry (ODV16)

Plasmid: pcDNA3.1. Strain: DH5α. Culture medium: TB. Culture time: 16 hours. Bacterial solution ODV: 16.

The results showed : that one AmMag™ Quatro Mni module can complete 48 samples at one time, and the yield and supercoiling uniformity of samples are strong.
