Description

The Firefly Luciferase (F-Luc) mRNA encodes the enzyme responsible for the bioluminescence seen in fireflies and click beetles. Upon delivery into cells or animals, it is translated into F-Luc protein, which emits light in the presence of its substrate, Luciferin.

This mRNA features:
- A Cap 1 structure with high capping efficiency
- 100% substitution with 5-Methoxyuridine (5-MOU) for improved protein expression and reduced innate immune response
- A 100A poly(A) tail to mimic natural mature mRNA

This construct offers strong, reliable bioluminescent signaling, making it ideal for transfection optimization, biodistribution studies, and LNP delivery validation.
