Description

The Firefly-Luciferase (F-Luc) circRNA expresses firefly luciferase protein, which is the enzyme for bioluminescence of fireflies and click beetles. After efficient delivery into cells or animals. F-Luc circRNA can translate into F-Luc and emit bioluminescence in the presence of its substrate, Luciferin.  
 
This circRNA features: 
- Self-circularized via the PIE strategy 
- Includes a minimal scar sequence (Exon + Spacer) 
- Designed with CVB3 IRES for translation initiation 
- Composed entirely of unmodified nucleotides

Applications
Transfect 0.1-0.2 µg of circRNA with 0.5 µL of Lipofectamine™ MessengerMAX™ (or equivalent reagent) per well in a 96-well plate, following the manufacturer’s instructions. Assess luciferase expression 12-48 hours post-transfection using luciferase assay system (Promega, E4030).
