Precut nitrocellulose (NC) membrane (8cm x 9cm) with 0.22 µm pore–size. 

NC membranes are a popular matrix used for transferring proteins from SDS-PAGE gels to membranes in preparation for western blotting. It is a proven medium for western blotting that produces excellent signal-to-noise results. The precut size fits best for all mini gel transfers. The 0.22 µm pore–size is recommended for most analytical blotting, including smaller peptides or lower molecular weight proteins. 
 NC membranes need to be wet with NC equilibrium buffer before transferring the proteins.
